Welcome to Time2Play Therapy
We all know how important play is to a child’s development, but sometimes it can be more beneficial than we realise.
A Play Therapist is someone who works with children suffering from a range of emotional difficulties and complex life experiences. Emotional difficulties include depression, anxiety, aggression, learning difficulties and ADHD. Difficult life experiences include abuse, grief, family breakdown, domestic violence and trauma. A Play Therapist helps a child to increase understanding, to decrease internal struggle and to increase resiliency, managing and emotional literacy. Play Therapists work closely with the child's parents/carers throughout the Play Therapy intervention and can occasionally undertake parent-child relationship interventions.
